Hi, my name is Bukola Folasade Odekanmi and I have been working as a home carer for several years. I am a dedicated and experienced care professional, with a unique skill set acquired through my work experience. I specialize in hourly care and have provided care for clients with a variety of conditions including mild cognitive impairment, bedbound patients, Parkinson's disease, anxiety, and rheumatoid arthritis.

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to establish strong relationships with my clients. I understand that companionship is an important part of caring, and I make a deliberate effort to build a rapport with those in my care. I pride myself on my ability to offer compassionate care whilst encouraging independence, promoting dignity and safeguarding the wellbeing of my clients.

My ability to provide a wide range of care services is a result of my training and experience, as well as my natural inclination to help others. I am skilled in assisting with bathing, toileting, dressing and catheter care. In addition to this, I have found that my clients enjoy spending time participating in activities that they enjoy, such as walking, gardening, socializing, watching TV and listening to music.

One thing that sets me apart from others is my preference for cats as pets. I find that these adorable creatures have a calming effect on my clients, and they provide emotional support that is especially helpful to those experiencing anxiety.
